 The level of conversation will raise a few octaves on March 2 as 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls from around the service area descend upon the Lamar Community College campus. They will be attending the fifth annual Girls in the Middle Conference from 9a-2p. Regional Science Fair

At 8a on Wednesday, February 27, Lamar Community College will be abuzz with excitement as young science enthusiasts converge at the Wellness Center to compete in the 2013 LCC Regional Science Fair.  This is an annual event that the college has sponsored for many years, even decades, to help promote interest in the sciences.  Students from grades 6 through 12 are eligible to participate.  The Science Fair draws over 200 participants annually from local and area schools ranging from Walsh to Plainview. read more…
